Name a star for the one you love

A real star with real coordinates, recorded under your name for it, with your words printed beside it.

Who is it for?

Look up. Most of what you see has no name.

Thousands of stars are visible to the eye. Only a few hundred have ever been given one.

We choose one real star from the catalogue.

Each was measured from orbit by the Hipparcos mission, so it comes with a catalogue number and exact coordinates.

And record it under the name you give it.

Once in our registry, never twice.

516years its light
has been travelling

The light they will see is older than anyone alive

Every star we record has its own measured distance, so every certificate tells a different story.

Example wording. Yours is printed exactly as you write it.

No, and no company's is. Only the International Astronomical Union names stars, and it does not sell names.

What you buy here is a real star's entry in the Skymark Registry, kept under the name you choose and given to nobody else in our records, with a certificate to mark it.

Somewhere up there is a star waiting for their name.
