What you are buying
You are buying an entry in the Skymark Registry, a private commemorative record, together with a certificate and star chart. A real star from the Hipparcos catalogue is recorded under the name you choose, and is not recorded under any other name in our registry.
The name is a symbolic gift. It is not recognised by the International Astronomical Union and is not used by astronomers. You do not own the star, and other companies keep their own separate lists.
What gets printed
Names and messages are printed exactly as you type them. Please check the preview before ordering. We may decline names or messages that are offensive or unlawful, and will refund the order if we do.
Prices and payment
Prices are in Indian rupees and include GST and delivery within India.
Delivery
Digital certificates are sent by email. Printed and framed certificates are made to order and delivered within 1 to 2 weeks of ordering, free, anywhere in India. The full details are in the shipping and delivery policy.
Cancellations, corrections and refunds
- You can cancel for a full refund within 24 hours of ordering, and after that until printing starts.
- Spelling corrections are free until printing starts. The star and registry number stay the same.
- Each certificate is made to order, so it cannot be returned once printed. If it arrives damaged or with our mistake on it, send a photo within 7 days and we replace it free.
